Data Science

In this activity, students will be introduced to data science where they will categorize and collect items based on a specific category and present their findings to the class.

Searching and sorting algorithms are fundamental concepts in computer science that deal with organizing and finding data. Use these fun-design acorn cards to have students test out a variety of sorting and searching algorithms. All algorithms are listed and have suggested grade levels attached to them. If younger grades are enjoying the process of understanding and tracing the algorithms, they can definitely try the more advanced ones as well.
