Tips for Running Activity
- If you are a motivated teacher wanting to bring computer science, CS concepts, and CS books & activities to your students, but have pushback from other grade-level colleagues, we recommend proposing this idea to your coworkers and then developing the plan/activities yourself – once your coworkers run their single activity multiple times for all the students in your grade and build the confidence to be able to run CS activities, you will have built in CS advocates on your team.
- If you have a CS motivated grade-level team, or even teachers across grades at your school, work together to create an amazing “CS Rotation Week” for your grade-level or school.

Assessment Opportunities
- Create a workbook that students can record their answers for each of the activities that they participate in for each classroom to help them collect all their CS experiences in one place.
- Give the students a bell ringer or mini quiz the week following the rotations to show how much they learned about computer science the week prior.
