This activity can be sent home as a Winter Break Challenge / Explore assignment or can be done in class in the time leading up to Winter Break.

Extension Opportunities

  • If you are teaching a specific content and want to make sure that all students complete an activity on that topic, require students go through a specific spot for their “tic tac toe” win for that specific activity. 
  • Have students “play” each other in a tic tac toe two person challenge version. Students can only earn the square when their challenge is checked off as complete by the teacher.
