Website and Database Development (7185) Project 5 – Golf Course

Design a website for a fictional golf course. This project is designed to introduce students to connecting a website with a database backend.  The focus would be to create a database to keep track of each whole on the course. Students would design and create a database with at least one table to store information about each hole on the course. Example data may include each whole’s par, yardage from various tee boxes, difficulty, name, hole location, etc. Students would then connect the database to the website and allow the user to query the database to get desired information about the course. For example, list all the Par 3’s on the course.  Or show the distances of each whole on the course from the Blue tee box.
